Once again there were bullshit calls and no-calls in the Steeler/Lion game that made me sick to my stomach. The pass interference call on Ike was an absolute fucking bad call. Two more plays stick out in my mind that i'm still pissed off about. On the Lions first possesion, Culpepper scrambled for 35 yards on a 3rd down, on that play James Harrison had badly beaten the LT and was going in for his second sack of the game when the LT literally grabbed his jersey from behind, halting Harrision's progress, which allowed Culpepper to pick up all that yardage, where was the fucking flag??? What are these "professional" referees looking at? The second play that sticks out was an obvious fumble by Kevin Smith that the Steelers recovered. Ed "dumbass" Hochuli immediately comes running in and blows the play dead. Upon watching the replay, it was obvious that the ball was fumbled, more baffling still was the fact that Tommy never challenged this play. What were his guys up in the booth watching, they see the same damn thing that we see. However, on plays of that fashion, the referees need not blow their whistles so quickly, if anything, rule it a fumble and then the other team can review it if necessary. Fucking pathetic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It'll probably keep getting worse. Eventually people with any intelligence at all will stop watching the games. Then the nfl will really be like the wwe. Or nascar.

Officiating has taken a turn for the worse. They continue to write more rules that protect the zebras. They continue to write new rules that allow the zebras to radically fuck games up. They continue to write rules that make it impossible for the defense to touch anyone, yet they allow Harrison to get hogtied. Last year they targeted Hines Ward. This year they have been told to ignore the hogtie of Harrison and the word is out
