Curious to see if any of the local press has written about this drastic change in Woodley's performance from January to now.....

NONE. None at all. The only source, ANYWHERE, to astutely ridicule Fat LaMarr, is right here at Stillers.com. We lead; others follow.

You'll never hear the yinzers in the Pittsburgh media tell the real story. You'll hear bullshit excuses such as 1) Woodley is causing disruption, but just missing the quarterback, 2) Woodley has been dropping in coverage more with the absence of Troy P, 3) Woodley is getting double teamed, etc. All of these are of course nothing but bullshit. Woodley is obviously overweight for his position, he's more suited right now to play DE in a 4-3 rather than an OLB in a 3-4. You need speed and quickness as an OLB, and Woodley has lost that with his size gain. Isn't is coincidental that the assholes in the Pitt media never talk about that? Woodly might as well be wearing a number 53 jersey since he is becoming more and more like Clark Haggans!! At least Gildon's number 92 went to a player that plays like a man possessed on every single snap of the game. And, I am sick and tired of seeing Woodley do nothing but a fucking bull rush on every play, like I said, you need speed and quickness to beat the big, fat OT around the edge. And since Woodley has lost that he can do nothing more than to fucking bull rush, and not to often is he going to pancake a 320 pound tackle. This guy obviously ready to much about himself last year, he better get his head out of his anal cavity and start playing some ball, we will need him to step up even more with the loss of Smith.

Woodley is so key is keeping Offensive blockers honest against harrision, etc.... it's a damn shame.... why don't the coaches/Tomlin put their foot down and force this guy to get back to 2008 weight?....it's one thing when I player just isn't any good anymore.... very frustrating to watch.

Since Woodley has gained weight & obviously not the same player as last yr, did the Stillers ever think just to try HIM to replace Smith at DE, since he played it @ Michigan?? Seems like a logical solution since we have way more depth at LB than DE.
