Polamalu? Status?

Postby lloydgreene » Fri Oct 09, 2009 10:17 am

Is he practicing? Is he expected to play this weekend? I might consider keeping him out one more week against the Lions if there are questions about his health.

But if he is ok to go, get him out there and let him start hitting people.

He isn't practicing with the 1st squad and he's wearing a brace, still, for his knee. I seriously doubt we'll see him out there.

Oct. 25 at home against the Vikings would be a great game for him to return...

better if they don't rush him back in tbh. i don't think he starts until the vikings game but may come in for limited action so he can shake off some rust. if need be though dont have him suit up until next week

From what I'm hearing, he will be back for the Cleveland game. This big reason for holding him out this week is because they are playing on the turf in Detroit, so they don't want to risk anything further. Quite frankly, if we can't beat Detroit without him then we don't deserve the playoffs

I would prefer to see him in Cleveland, to get a game back under his belt before the Vikings- who I consider one of the two best teams left on our schedule. One more week of rest, then one good game against a division opponent, and two weeks of practice before the FARVES game.

If we lose to Detroit, I will be changing my avatar and name to "FIRETHEWHOLEDAMNTEAM!"

lol.

It would be stunning to see Troy P out on the field this Sunday. He'll probably be ready by next week.

I'd imagine Troy P rests this week and is back for Cleveland next week...By Denver Week 9, the defense will be back to where we all expected it to be.

The NFL Network reports Pittsburgh Steelers SS Troy Polamalu (knee) has been ruled out for Week 5.
