Pittsburgh Steelers OG Chris Kemoeatu (ankle) and LB Andre Frazier (shoulder) were limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 8. They hope to practice Friday, Oct. 9 and play in Week 5.

Pittsburgh Steelers TE David Johnson (ankle) fully participated in practice Thursday, Oct. He should be able to play in Week 5.

Pittsburgh Steelers WR Hines Ward (rest) participated in practice Thursday, Oct. 8.

John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Willie Parker (toe) did not participate in practice Thursday, Oct. 8.

John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports Pittsburgh Steelers SS Troy Polamalu (knee) was limited during practice Thursday, Oct. 8. He could be a game-time decision for Week 5.

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers RB Willie Parker (toe) could play in the team's Week 5 game as a backup but could be given the week off to heal.

Updating a previous report, Pittsburgh Steelers SS Troy Polamalu (knee) could play in the team's Week 5 game, but likely will sit out the game. Some in the organization believe it is best to keep Polamalu off the artificial turf the team will be playing on in Week 5.

Mark Kaboly, for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, reports Pittsburgh Steelers FS Ryan Clark said he does not want SS Troy Polamalu to play in Week 5 because he does not want Polamalu to rush his return from injury. "Me personally, I would rather have him for the last 10 (games) or the last stretch rather than have him come out and injure himself again and set himself back," Clark said.
