Having a 28-7 lead, wouldn't it have been...

nice to see Ziggy Hood on the field?

You would think Hood would get a chance to see some action in a 3 TD lead going into the 4th quarter with nothing to fear but the pass...I seriously believe LeBeau had stroke after the AFC Championship game last year.

With Ziggy in the game, we could have set Keisel, Hood, Smith and Harrison on the line as pass rushers and let Timmons cover Gates, who was absolutely killing us. Keep Farrior as the lone MLB to spy on Sproles and Woodley to just stand there like he normally does. I wouldn't mind Tomlin switching to a 4-3, perhaps Tampa 2 (stressing SPEED), in leads in the game. We're going to need that speed to put a stop to these quick slants and underneath routes that have been killing us.

before the season started i was hoping lebeau would have made a few rush packages with ziggy hood in there. why not use his speed in obvious passing downs

Opposing teams shoud start coming out passing on us soon. We obviously cannot stop a team when they are behind and have to pass to catch up.

I think the Steelers had a lot of coverage sacks last year. Need improved secondary play maybe more than pass rush - but both go hand in hand.

More Ziggy - not so much as he is a savior in the d-line but we must be getting tired in the 4th. Steelers need to sub more.

I agree. The Steeler defense looks tired in the fourth quarter. My belief is that this is a possible age issue. I would be great to see Ziggy get playing time when we have a large lead. I think we are going to need him down the stretch.

my belief is with polamalu out, it takes 3 quarters to figure out how to exploit the D and 1 quarter to do the exploiting. exploiting means bigger plays. bigger plays means more 1st downs. more 1st downs leads to the team being on the field more. being on the field more means looking tired to the viewing audience. for this reason, ziggy SHOULD be in. i don't understand why he's not at least alternating every other play with fat casey. maybe that's just a homer want.
