Steelers sign DE Huntley

The Steelers have signed defensive end Kevin Huntley and released rookie defensive tackle Kyle Clement.
The 6-7, 270-pound Huntley, who was recently waived by the Redskins, has played parts of two NFL seasons.

He had 10 tackles and 2 1/2 sacks for the Raiders in six games in 2006. Playing in five games for the Falcons last season, the 26-year-old Huntley was credited with three tackles.

Clement, who signed with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent, had been out since spraining his knee Sunday.

Huntley failed his phyical and was waived by the Steelers.

The Steelers signed tight end Lee Vickers to replace Jonathan Dekker, who will miss the season after tearing his right ACL against Buffalo. Vickers takes the roster spot of Kevin Huntley, who was claimed off waivers by the Washington Redskins after failing his physical with the Steelers. Dekker, who will have surgery next week, was on the Steelers practice squad the past two seasons and played the final five games of last season. He was placed on the waived/injured list.

Call me crazy,i'm still kind of holding out hope for McFarland

Hell,same goes for LeCharles Bentley...though he must seriously be screwed up...hell so is McFarland apperently.

I agree we might see mcfarland done the road at leat he passed the physical but hopefully they will find
at leastone or 2 players before the start of the season.Watch the miami and Arz cuts

Hell he looks like he is 16 and the only football he can play is madden. If I were an OL I would probably laugh at him when he came to the line. Maybe just maybe there is a reason he has been cut by 3 teams in 2 years. Oh and he couldn't even pass our physical. hahaha sounds like the DL that can save our D I guess we can cut Hampton, Hoke and A Smith now. whoooooa what I dominating aquisition.
