Ben Roethlisberger will be guest hosting WWE's Monday Night

Postby BigE » Tue Sep 29, 2009 1:35 am

According to Mike Florio, Big Ben will be hosting WWE Raw next Monday night. Way to go Ben, this is exactly what this struggling football team needs. Instead of having your face in the playbook, you want to run around a stupid ring. Hope you didn't sign up to do any stupid ass stunts. I don't think you'd see Peyton Manning or Tom Brady doing this like this during the season, especially when all is not well with the offense. Do this kind of shit during the offseason!!!!!!!!!

Stand back and look at the big picture. The nfl is looking more and more like WWE choreography each day. The similarities lie in the officiating and in the play calling by the offensive and defensive coordinators. From that point of view it's highly appropriate that Ben participate in this event.

I'm a big WWE/Pro Wrestling Fan, but even I got to question the timing issue here, especially considering the start The Team is off to.

Ben should be hosting a game of catch with our wide outs.

In fairness to BR7, Monday is his day off. I still think that this is more of an off-season activity.

Again another example of no focus on football and no direction from our head coach. Billy would be proud of MT on his fine job of defending our SB championship.

I agree. If Ben had been playing poorly (the Pick 6, not withstanding b/c it may have been Tone's fault), then maybe. However, Ben is not the reason we've been losing and is probably working on repairing any damage McNutty caused his image.

If he worked with his team getting them fired up on his day off instead of getting a bunch of actors and there fans fired up he could show all those actors and fans another super bowl ring in his off season.

i'm becoming very disappointed in ben.
first it's screwing canadian women and now we find out he likes stupid-ass wrestling.

at least we don't have to worry about ben getting hurt... since it's all fake.

I think the opinion on this would be a lot different if Holmes and Limas had been able to make two catches...And I also am almost positive that this was something he probably agreed to a while ago. It just looks bad now b/c we are at 1-2.
