Sepulveda, Logan, and MeMo
Lost in the shuffle of Thursday night's coverage of the game was the return of our punter. He pinned the Titans down inside their own 10 on more than one occasion, and may be the best in the league at using angles to prevent return men from getting a chance to break one open. With the addition of Stefan Logan, our special teams went from a C- (last year) to perhaps a B+ or an A- this year, only time will tell.
Also, did anyone else get the feeling that Tomlin has had it with FWP (and maybe even Mendy) in the 4th quarter? When the chips were down, he turned to his old boy MeMo, who once again proved his value by catching out of the backfield and picking up a few big first downs.
I think Parker may be on a shorter leash than we all think. If he doesn't turn in a few solid outings, I see a strong possibility of Tomlin benching him and going with Mendy/MeMo for the rest of the year.

Hey toomuch:
I agree the combination of Logan and Sepulveda in my opinion will be huge this year. You saw it on the first series against Tenn. Opening kick off returned to the 40. Offense does a 3& out (I think or maybe got one first down). Then Sepulveda pins Tenn deep with a punt.
I think those two can flip the field in our favor all year long and that is huge with our defense.
It will be interesting to see how things play out with FWP in the coming weeks. I will agree the run blocking on the line was shitty at best. However, he did not look decisive nor did he run hard into holes which is a big concern. Lets hope it is a one week thing. I really like the three headed monster at RB

Sepulveda bailed our defense out a few times with monster punts, that last season would have caused our defense to have their backs to the endzone at the start of the drive. I know it's only Week 1 but I see Daniel ending up in Hawaii

Most people do not understand what he brings to the table.
I have heard a lot of people give his punting ave only which is misleading due to touch backs and all. Look at how may punts he places inside the 20. Plus he is typically really good at pinning the opposing teams return guy to the sideline.

Steeler fans certainly appreciate him. He got a huge ovation from the crowd at our first pre season game. That was sweet

Re: Sepulveda, Logan, and MeMo
I've been saying this all pre-season, Seppy gives us FP. (I LOVED his pick in 4th round - worth every give-up we gave). His corner kicks, redzone drops will give our D more 3 & outs with FP at our 40 or better. Puts constant pressure on opposing offenses. Now with a return man as we saw , we can see half the field or less.
WE ALL KNOW OUR PROBLEM AFTER THAT: N.A.I.
NO ARIANS INTERFERENCE
Also, I've said to many naysayers "NO WAY" we go to SB w/out Moore.
Best FA pick-up since Bettis (FA? or trade?), Farrior or Greene.
