Tennessee looks like a professional football team and we...

look like the damn bad news bears!

I don't care what the score is at the end of the game, the Titans have pushed us around tonight. We have made some big plays, but we have not punched them back!

Where is our toughness?

I'm afraid I don't understand, you don't care if we win or lose, just what we look like in the process? Ben looked amazing, the defense did their job [keeping points off the board(although they were very easily traversed upon it seemed)], and special teams were decent.

Of course I care what the scoreboard is at the end of the game, but I am more concerned with our record at the end of the year. Our O-line was manhandled when we tried to run. We will not be able to get away with the Ben Roethlisberger run and gun show all year... we must establish some balance. Please don't forget that we kept them scoring a couple of times with turnovers that we can not rely upon all year.

Happy for the win, extremely disappointed with the performance. Big Ben did look great in the second half and our wide receivers are staking claim to "best in NFL" type status. I agree with that.

And for the record, Ben looked quite human in the first half. One pick (other one was that cheap hail mary) and several sloppy throws. When we went no-huddle our offense looked really good.

The Steelers last night looked much like they appeared in the two regular season Ravens games last year. In both of those, the Ravens looked touigher and controlled the line of scrimmage. Same here.

I thought the Titans looked good and were on top of their game. I thought our guys looked like it was week 5 of the preseason. Parker had sat out several weeks and it looked like it. The O-Line was not in sync on the running game at all. We played the second half without Troy and Timmons -- our two best defenders in terms of covering ground in the middle as to the passing game.

Thank god we have Ben. :celebrate:

Not for long if we can't run the ball more effectively.

Tennessee looks like a pro football team with the loss...Steelers won the game..I am not worry about style points. All i worry about is the "W". It is the first game...let's calm down....Enjoy the win.

It's a 'copycat" league. Everyone saw what we saw. We can't run.
Every DC in league now has nickels and dimes in his notebook. Just stop Hines, Holmes or Miller because the run will not be there to worry about. Make Ben scramble a little and force balls into coverage.

Dare I say it? You KNOW they don't even know how to spell "Arians" much less know who the !@#$ he is.
I wish I didn't know who he is! There won't be much to game plan around for them defensively. Keep 6 guys back there and 5 at LOS. Won't see draws or screens because we can't do those anymore.

If Seppy goes down, we're in trouble. If I'm a ST Coach, I tell him to drop it inside the 20 then run the other way after he kicks! This guy will do amazing things to our FP this year. Throw in Logan for those extra 10 yds and then we'll get to see a bit of colossal coaching futility when Bruce begins the drives.
