30 touches per game for FWP

The Associated Press reports Pittsburgh Steelers RB Willie Parker said head coach Mike Tomlin told him that he will have 30 carries per game this season. The team is expected to have a two-back system with Parker and RB Rashard Mendenhall. "We got a two-back system now, so when they call my number I just got to be ready," Parker said. "Coach Tomlin told me 30 carries (per game), but I don't know about that. I've just got to be ready."
They must be trying to use FWP up before his contract is up.

Willie runs bigger than his body. Love the kid, but looks like they are going to save some $$$ and go younger next year.
Great story. Great back with great affection from me. I will watch this season and enjoy every minute of it, hoping that FWP scores himself a big contract next year, if he doesn't fit in to the Stillers' plans next year.

Love FWP but he's not a tackle breaker. I just wish the'd use him more in the flat, more screens. Use the speed he's obviously blessed with where he can run in the open and make people miss. A "BUS" he is not but a man of heart, determination, and character,... THAT! he is!
I agree, I hope he gets a big contract. I hope they don't wreck the man. 30 carries a game? That is a stretch. Not with Arians though.
As I said, use his "obvious" speed - NOTHING is obvious to BA.
Use him in the flat, outside on screens, etc. - according to BA, he's a "RB" not a "WO". Can't use him to catch,...can we?????
