Wallace is an upgrade over "Crisco" Washington
He's faster
He's got more courage
He's got better hands
Crisco was afraid to get hit and dropped or wouldn't fight for the ball. The Titans over paid for a sissy WR. With that said i also think we have upgraded our CB depth. I like Burnett more as a ballhawk in passing situations than as a return guy. He's got better hands than Ike and knows how to take it to the house. He's picked off more passes than anybody in camp. Ratliff is a solid Vet as well. Keenan Lewis is a fine developmental prospect.
Ward
Holmes
Sweed
Wallace
McDonald

It appears that Wallace has pure athletic ability over Nate - he should given the difference in draft status. but I can't complain too much about Nate's 16yd avg and 12tds over the last three seasons - except that it could have been 18tds.
I like the final WR roster in the above post. Anytime I watched Detroit play I would see McDonald come up with some nice catches in traffic and by him finding the soft part of the field. I was happy when I heard we picked him up.

Wallace looked great in a pre-season game, but we'll see how it pans out when it's 3rd and 7 in the 4th quarter of a crucial drive. I really like McDonald's quickness and hands. I think he has huge potential in this offense, similar to Wes Welker with the Pats.

[I think he has huge potential in this offense, similar to Wes Welker with the Pats.*]
If only! If only we could use receivers the way Pats use theirs - to their strengths, use them to make defense loosen up the box, etc. We use Hines the best, but Tone has untapped talent as we saw in SB.
Broken record but I agree, Wallace and MacD would be great on those delay, behind the linebacker patterns Welker is known for. Always open and Brady hits him 5 -7 yrds past LOS. Geez, if it works, you KNOW Arians won't try it. Brady is average QB, accurate and smart but average, we all could complete 50% of the passes Brady does. The offense system they play is what makes him look good. Good OL keeps him alive for Welker (100+ catches???) to get open underneath or wait for Moss. He can't move for anything. Ben is all that and more if Arians would just loosen up the defenses instead of his 1-back crap and tight formations.
Welker keeps backers honest - slows their rush a second or two, and the safeties have to stay back for Moss and respect Welker's speed, so the 5-7 yard draw play with Faulk works every time it's tried because the box has fewer defenders in it. Gee, what a concept,...spread a defense, fake 'em out, use players for what they can do best. Sorry, Arians useful as a box of hammers.

Nate did exactly what I said he would do last year, have a breakout one.
