Excited about Timmons, seeing Dennis Dixon play
Just hearing about how players are saying its like having a second Troy Polamalu, is a good thing to imagine.
Especially a larger, harder hitting version of Polamalu, playing up front.
It's scarey to think that Timmons is a significant upgrade to Foote, and an upgrade to the kind of defense built from last year.
Who knows how good they can be? Woodley is just going to get better. Harrison is just entering his prime. And I like to see Gay getting more play time.
Anyways, I'm also excited to see Dennis Dixon get more play time, especially in the pre season. I GARUNTEE you guys he is going to wow.
He is such an amazing athlete, and one of the best QBs to come out of college in his class. If it wasn't for his ACL injury, he was the favorite to win the Heisman that year...

I'm also really excited about Dennis Dixon. That kid has so much potential. I'm not a huge fan of the Wildcat offense but I'd love to see Dixon out there giving defenses fits. I can't wait for football to start!!!!!!

yeah, i agree. you don't have to be MARRIED to the formation, just use some plays here and there to keep the other team guessing.

IMO Dixon won't be in any sort of back-up QB plans after this season is over. Seeing him throw at camp he looks very erratic and inconsistent. I think that he's a great athlete and could serve some role, but at this point I can't see what it is w/ Arians refusing to use the Wildcat.

That's dissappointing to hear, I was sure hoping he'd develop a bit more this year in his passing.
I guess he's going to get alot of play time tommorrow, what with Ben out and all.

I heard on the radio (don't remember the source) that the coaching staff said they are going to get a good look at Dixon in the first two preseason games. Sounds like this is his opportunity to prove himself
