USA today say distractions loom for Steelers
But once they get past the fact that Ben is being sued, they actually get into some football talk.

Big Ben is not under the threat of going to jail. He is only going to lose money when they eventually settle this suit out of court. So after his $100 million contract, the payout to this lady does not even register as a distraction.

i would be surprised if ben settles out of court.
with no evidence against him, and all kinds of things wrong with her case and mental capacity, it would seem like an admission of guilt for him to settle.
he has to fight this for his own character, and i hope he will. unless it would take time away from games or practice.
