Heath Signed through 2014
TE, Heath Miller, signed a 6 year deal with the steelers today, which will keep him from becoming a Restricted Free Agent at the end of this season.

The Steelers came to a contract extension with tight end Heath Miller tonight that will pay him $35.3 million over the next six seasons.
Miller had one year left on the five-year contract he signed as a rookie, when he was their first-round draft choice in 2005. The contract includes a $12.5 million signing bonus.

Well if we had anymore cap room left, this is where it all went. I wonder if this was a result of failed negotiations with Ryan Clark?
I still hope we can extend Clark, Reed and maybe Hampton (we will have absolutely no depth at NT if he goes...). I think Parker and Keisel are as good as gone.

I sure hope we can address the NT position next draft or in free agency. We are seriously undermanned at that position. Hampton's fat ass won't be around much longer and how much more can we get from Hoke. If Parker leaves for a big payday are we okay with Mendy, Moore, and Summers? I don't know, but we might need help in that department as well
