Just had to vent about this one. Why do teams go gaga over a washed-up qb who won 1 super bowl 13 years ago?? I can kind of understand Favre wanting to play...he's a competitor. What I can't understand is any team wanting him, unless they just want to watch him throw interceptions at the most crucial times during the game/season.

If farve plays under control like he did in 07, then the vikings can chalenge for the nfcc and the key factor is farve wants to stick it to the packers which will make him play to the best of his ability.I beleive he just went thru the motions last yr and had no interest at all playing for any team besides the vikings.

farve throws ints when he has no talent around him or a very poor defense and risks throws do to game situations, on the vikings he will not need to carry the team and make risky throws just to keep the team in the game.

The vikings dont need mpv of the 90's farve , they will challenge with a somewhat cautious farve 2007 sort of like an old elway when he handed off to terrell davis and made field general decsions to win the 2 superbowls.

big difference playing for a team with all the pieces in te vikings and no pieces in the jets, the jets needed a 28 yr old mvp farve to win games they were not supposed to win, while the vikes need a leader to guide the ship...

how is this even a story? "we probably will talk about the possibility of doing that".

i don't care that the vikings WILL discuss it. i won't care when they DO discuss it. i won't care when the make the decision. i won't care about the reports that the two sides have talked.
