One thing the club doesn't need is a head-case. Nix on Lelie.

i for one would be very disappointed if we didn't sign our quota of 2 detroit lion cast-offs this season.

that being said, i actually like this signing (assuming it's for/close to the vet min); has anyone seen terms yet?

I know we usually don't go after the 'Lelie' type, but I wish we would have given him a shot. We could have picked him up super cheap and drop him if he doesn't pan out or has a 'tude problem. I don't really see what Shaun McDonald brings to the table. He had one almost 1,000 yd season in '07. Other than that, nothing special. I'm still praying that Limas pans out. We need a big, dominant wide receiver that can attract coverage and free up other receivers, as well as give us more options on the goal line. Although maybe Frank the Tank can help us out in that dept...

McDonald looked great when Kitna was throwing to him in 2007. Ever since, he has had no one to get him the ball. He is great #3 WR if Sweed doesn't develop as we all hope for.
Starks for RT in 2008.

Max Starks- 17.5 sacks in 4 seasons.

Willie Colon- 12.25 sacks in 1 season.

You do the math. Now, who do you want starting at RT??
