2 teams that have viewed interest so far, humorously, are the Raiders and Bears.

Once again why the Steelers are such a class organiztion. They don't over pay for talent and they don't keep trouble makers.

it really sounds like he's going to do some time. if he keeps the same philosophy as on the streets, he'll be walking around with a shiv dangling near his femoral.

the good news: he's just been signed to star in The Longest Yard 3.

spoiler alert: the secret, last-second play to win the game is spiking the ball before he's down.

What a fucking world.
Get in big time trouble.
Embarrass your employer.
Get fired.
Get $1 Million Dollars. :?

John Clayton, of ESPN.com, reports free-agent WR Plaxico Burress (Giants) won his grievance against the New York Giants Monday, April 6, for bonuses withheld from a suspension last year. According to his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, an arbitrator ruled the Giants must pay Burress a $1 million bonus plus an undisclosed amount for a 2008 roster bonus. The Giants suspended Burress for four games last season after he accidentally shot himself in the leg at a Manhattan nightclub. The four-game suspension cost Burress $823,529 in lost wages. He was also fined an additional $205,882, one week's salary. On top of that, the Giants declined to pay a $1 million installment of a $4.25 million signing bonus, which was part of a five-year, $35 million extension Burress signed in September. That payment was due Dec. 10, two weeks after the shooting.

Unfortunately, he has a lot of football left in him IF he can stay out of trouble. If I had cap $, I'd go after him, especially if my WR corps is putrid, like the Bears or Baltimore. Hell, he's been busted in Miami so many times, the Dolphins m'as well offer him a contract.

He great in the short run but a year or two in the wheels fall off the cart. Just look at the Giants and their Super bowl aspirations last season.

Exactly. He is bad for team chemistry. Pgh won AFTER he was gone. I know he was great for the NYG's run, but eventually he is more trouble than he is worth

haha the Stillers look like the smartest franchise because of Burress being a dumbass. Pittsburgh knows when to punish their criminals or release them. One might jump on my post by saying "what about Holmes?" Tomlin did something about this by making Holmes sit out the next game which we lost. Tomlin has class like every coach has had in the Stiller organization. The Ravens might want to practice some class by benching their two linebackers.
