What do you make of the news?

Postby lloydrules » Mon Mar 23, 2009 5:27 pm

Cutler remains a baby

First of all, the Cutler situation in Denver. So, the team lied to him and sought to replace him, while lying about it. OK, their bad. But at this point, shouldn't Cutler get over it by now? It's a business. The new guy coming in was more comfortable with his guy. It didn't pan out. Cutler, your hissy fit is so noted. Now stop being such a baby. I think that guy is a loser. I think the guy is stupid. Anyone coming out and saying his arm is stronger than they LEGEND of the city is stupid. Even if he thinks it, he shouldn't say it, and it's just not true. Elway had a total cannon of an arm. Cutler has a big arm, but stronger than Elway? I don't think so.

Rice speaks to NFL owners

Why? I don't get it. What makes her an authority on anything NFL? Just because she is a fan? So what. It goes to show you that the NFL is an intricate part of "the establishment." She was in bed with all the folks that brought us mass human suffering and mass murder. Why should an self-respecting entity greet her with any respect?

Tuna is doing it again

Look at all the moves Miami is making; Tuna is very busy in re-stacking that team. Having already taken them to 10 wins (I know he's not coach, but it's his blue print all over the team, including team philosophy) he is going to make the Fins a solid team for the upcoming seasons. He has to find a QB, or nothing else will make them truly a real contender, but he will be putting everything else in place. If he _does_ find a legit QB, look out. They will be a legit contender when he does. He is the reason Dallas is any good (if they are). He is the reason the Jets went from laughing stock to good and same story in New England, and, of course, the reason for the Giants SB wins when he was there.

This couldn't be farther from the truth. Miami benefited from a very piss poor division without Tom Brady and the easiest schedule in the league, playing the NFC and AFC West. Seeing how they play the NFC South and AFC South this year, they will win less than 6 games. You can bank on that.

Regardless of their schedule they want from winning 1 game to 10. If you think that's purely because of weak schedule, you are out of your mind. The team has a new, winning attitude that wins games they would have other wise lost.

You will see. Oh, and they beat NE, what one game? Yea, Brady missing might have caused a whole ONE win all season long. That's the ticket.

I will go ahead and throw my obligations towards Brady being overrated aside and say that the blowout against NE was mostly due to an awful defensive turnout by the Pats. The Patriots probably would have had a 13 or 14 win season if their defense wasn't sputtering so much.

I don't think I'll put down a prediction for Miami, though. I think they could be anywhere from 4 to 12 wins.

You can DEFINITELY bank on that. :sudancin:
