Adam Caplan, of Scout.com, reports restricted free-agent OT Willie Colon (Steelers) signed his tender offer from the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to his agent. He will receive a one-year deal worth $2.198 million.

damn. I was half hoping he'd sign elsewhere...and we could cash in on the draft reward for his doing so. :(

I wonder if his contract offer includes an obligatory provision that he commit a hold, false start, or have some other form of a dumb ass attack at least once per game.

Did he get any offers from anyone else???
I think the one year offer is a sure sign that we'll try to draft a competent OT in the draft, and move Willie either back to guard or out of town.
I hope this year he can keep his helmet on the line of scrimmage so he doesn't get called for illegal formation. :suxfingers:
