Pro Bowl
The great Pro Bowl is among us. Anyone looking for any story lines? How is Porter and Harrison going to play Vice Versa of each other, along with Ed Reed and Polamalu in the secondary going up against Warner and Fitz? Eli Vs Peyton? The Pro Bowl was always fun to watch, for me at least.
A lot I know don't give a shit, but it IS the last football game of the year until August. I say enjoy it.

It's so anticlimatic. The early pro bowl is really starting to grow on me. There's no real tension here since the die has already been cast.
Re: Pro Bowl
I hate to admit this, but I actually got a little too into last year's pro bowl.
After seeing Ben and Peyton have decent games, watching Derek Anderson's dreadful performance and eventual loss to the NFC (placed squarely on his shoulders) really frustrated me. It's sad, it was only half that and half the fact that was all the football I had left to watch. I still hate to think about it.
Anyone else felt it was weird to root for housh, cj, braylon, and winslow as the receivers ben was throwing to?

It'll be hilarious if Harrison picks off Warner again

Re: Pro Bowl
I heard a great suggestion from a talk show host last week...
Move the Super Bowl to Saturday night followed by the Pro Bowl the next day in the same city... This made a lot of sense and has some benefits:
1.) It would relieve the anticipation for the Super Bowl by one day (two weeks is too long anyway).
2.) It creates an additional party atmosphere in the city where it's held. The Pro Bowlers get to experience the atmosphere.
3.) The Pro Bowl broadcast booth could have the players from the Super Bowl as guests the next day (probably hungover) talking about the win/loss and all of the excitement.
4.) And last, and most importantly, the general public could then make it to work on time Monday morning!
