NFL Network still hating the Steelers 2 days after victory!
Ok, I just have to get this off my chest. NFL network, which in my opinion is full of B-rated filler content and a bunch of half-witted nimrod commentators, has this segment called 'Official Review', during which one of their talking heads gets to question Mike Pereira (head of NFL officiating) about controversial calls from the previous week's games. Of course, this session was all about the SB. The 'controversial calls' brought up by NFL network were:
1) Why wasn't Santonio called for excessive celebration after his game-winning TD catch?
2) Why wasn't the last Cards play (when Woodley stripped Curt Warner) reviewed more thoroughly, to really, really, really make sure that there was no way it could have possibly been an incomplete pass, thus giving the Cards one last shot
3) Was James Harrison really, truly, and honestly across the goalline on his int return at the end of the first half?
4) When Mitch Berger got plowed over, why was that called a penalty?
I watched in amusement/disbelieft as the NFL network double, triple, and quadruple-guessed every possible call that 'should have' gone against us. Too be honest, I don't really give a shit because
a) we won the fucking game, flat out.
b) I actually thought that the SB officiating was pretty good (except for the bs holding call against Hartwig in the endzone). There were a lot of holding penalties, most of which due to Mike Gandy clotheslining James Harrison on every play, but that's another story...
Ok. I'm done with my rant.
GO STEELERS!
...if you go to nfl.com and search 'offical review', and click on the 'videos' tab, you can see the archives of this segment. They haven't posted the latest one as of tonight.

Typical media...
Btw... I thought once a player leaves the field of play they can't come back in to make a play? Is that only the case on offense?
Fitzgerald ran out of bounds down the sideline to catch Harrison on the interception... I haven't heard anything about this.

THANK YOU! I thought I was the only one in the world who saw this or new the rule! However, I wasn't going to get excited about it unless they didn't score. If they ruled it down before the goal line the Steelers would have still had another shot because of the penalty on the Cards. Even though time had expired they would have had another play to punch it in.
