The drive to end all steeler drives!
why call it anything else?
basically this is the most historic drive in steeler franchise history , none of the other 5 sb wins did the steelers drive the field in the final 2 minutes for a game winning td...
I think the only way to beat this one is if you have under 2 minutes no timeouts from your own 5 yd line or so, that type of scenerio.
since this is the first one, It should just be known as "the drive" in steeler land...

I'm so glad it turned out the way it did. When Fitz ran that ball in from 64 yards out, I looked at my wife and boldly said......" the cardinals are going to lose"........
You don't allow Ben a chance at the end of a close game, this is a recipie for disaster! How many times has Ben done this in his career? He has done it on Monday nights, Thursday nights, previous playoff games, ect..., my point being, he has done this so many times on the national stage, but never, never, got the full respect he deserved.
I heard all week how the Cardinals were going to win a close one. Almost every media outlet said basically this same thing, totaly discounting the fact that Roethlisberger is one of the best quarterbacks in the 4th quarter, but I never heard it once mentioned how in a close game Ben is golden.
This "drive" was very fitting for our champion QB, it summed up his career to a "T". And it took the stage of the SB for Ben to work his majic ,that we as Steeler fans were already use too, before others would finally argee......THIS GUY IS CLUTCH!

You have nailed it. I think Ron Cook (or someone) wrote a similar article entitled "Nothing new for Big Ben". How many times this year has Ben engineered a game winning drive? Answer: A LOT!

I think most Steelers fans felt Ben could get it done after Fitz scored. It took me until they came back after commercial before the sting wore off but Ben's consistency in game winning drives began to sink in. My phone lit up with people feeling positive as well.
I just didn't dream that it would finish with a toe-tapping, corner of the endzone TD. Ben must have pump-faked 4 or 5 times on that drive alone.

Watching highlights today and I was blown away by the play on the first and 20 from the 12... in all the hoopla that followed I forgot how awesome that was.

I second that. That play symbolizes Ben the way the Bus rolling over Urlacher symbolizes Bettis.
