Ryan Clark will not be fined for hit on McGahee
Mike Reiss, of the Boston Globe, reports Pittsburgh Steelers FS Ryan Clark will not be fined for his hit on Baltimore Ravens RB Willis McGahee in the AFC Championship.
Finally he NFL does go pussy. Totally clean hit. McGahee lowered his shoulder and head in anticipation of the already moving Clark and in doing so put his helmet right in the line of Clark's.
BTW, McGahee was released from the hospital today.

Good.
No reason that he should have been fined. I know that hasn't stopped the NFL in the past, but still...
Besides, if it makes James, Boldin, Fitzgerald, etc. think twice about coming across the middle, then all the better, IMO.

Clark and the rest of the secondary need to really focus on Fitzgerald. He's far and away better than any WR the Steelers have faced in the playoffs and argueably this entire season if you believe as McLovin that Fitzgerald is the best WR in the NFL. Dick needs to seriously consider playing not 1 but 2 corners on that guy he's that acrobatic and physical. Taylor and Troy might be enough to shut that guy down. McLovin's prayer: Oh Dick gawd of the zone blitz please commandeth your soldiers to sacketh Kurteth Warner into submission and several interceptions. Amen.

Our Lebeau, who art the coordinator,
Hallowed be thy Scheme.
Sacks will come, Interceptions be done,
In Tampa as it was in Pittsburgh.
Give us this day our daily turnovers.
And forgive us pass interference, as we forgive those who push off against us.
And lead us not into overtime,
but deliver us short fields for thy roethlisberger.
For thine is the steel mills, the blitz, and sixth super bowl forever.
Amen.
