Compare the AZ & PIT trophy presentations :)

Postby relictele » Sun Jan 18, 2009 11:33 pm

AZ - you'd have thought they won the SB already along with the PowerBall. Way over the top. Do they deserve it? Probably but it was still a bit surprising.

Just another day at the office at Heinz. No cliches about the next step (though they will be forthcoming) - everyone's jazzed but we know what the roadmap looks like.

had that thought too.
Cards celebrated as if they had accomplished their goal;
Steelers like it was just the next step toward their goal.

Also thought TV covered more of ceremony when it was the Patriots.

maybe. Hope that's what it was.
Not sure he has the strength to hold he Hunt trophy. Thing looks heavy and Dan has been looking weak.

I loved everything about the way tomlin handled that. To parpahrase: "we didn;t start the season to make it to Tampa.. we still have work to do." He is one cool character.

They better do some serious work on the offensive play calling. You can bank on Whiz and the Cards throwing some stuff at us we've never seen before. I fully expect Whiz to run some trick plays to take advantage of Troy's aggressiveness. Whiz has to know he's not going to win this game by just going head to head with us. He's going to generate some points by being creative.

I'm scared that we might try some trickery as well. We can't even pull off a reverse or a screen with out looking like we've never done it before. Frankly I wonder if our offense actually practices.

I think the Cards will play dink and dunk on us to keep pressure off Warner and go for the big play when he has the chance. The Cards will try to make Ben beat them.

I think we can establish the run if given the chance. So we'll have to prevent the big play early so we can do so.
