Hey Mill: Instead of "Don’t wear the Hard Hat proudly, . . ." should it be "Don’t wear the Soft Cap proudly, . . ."?

I thought hines had a good game, but he was the only player i can think of

Mewelde Moore could have gotten the Hard Hat.
He ran for 28 yards on just three carries. And, he ran hard.
He gained 20 yards on two receptions. Likewise, he fought for a first down...and ran out of bounds (stopping the clock).
But, since he only had FIVE touches, there is no way he could earn the Hard Hat.
Ergo, I agree.

I personally think a better name would be the "Powder Puff"...... "Soft cap" sounds too much like what a baseball player wears....... And the phrase to the selected loser would be, "Hide the Powder Puff embarrassingly....."
Whenever Tom Brady loses, it's always someone else's fault.

Powder Puff Award, given to the Stiller player who worst embodies the weak-assed, soft-as-marshmallow attitude of cheerleaders inside the fashion department of a JC Penney......

Why are we not giving the hard hat award frequently when the Steelers lose? Not one person on that team deserves it?

I'm still saying hines ward deserved it. 7 receptions, 109 yards, took a vicious hit on his TD catch but still held on. Hines played his ass off this game, it's just unfortunate the rest of the team didn't. However I think ward gets robbed if he's not given a hard hat for a tough perfomance

I agree. Hines definitely deserved the Hard Hat. However, no one else on the roster played a complete, tough enough game to even come close.

Wasn't Chris Kemo tasked with blocking that previously unheard of benchwarmer DT who turned into Joe Greene reincarnate by single handedly producing 3.5 out of their defenses 4 sacks on the day? And he got zero consideration for the soft cap/powderpuff award? Jes' sayin'...
