Confirm this rumor?
I have heard it said that prior to the first Home game (Cleveland) the entire field will be covered with a black rain tarp and it will be painted as a Terrible Towel as a tribute to Myron. Can anyone confirm/deny this rumor? Thanks.

I'm not sure about the Terrible Towel idea but I can confirm that our first home game is against Houston, not Cleveland. Our 2nd game is at Cleveland and the last game of the season is against them as well.

I can confirm that if this is indeed the intention, the tarp will not be painted.
It is much more likely to be screen printed!

A picture of that from the upper deck, on the 50 yard line, would make a fantastic wallpaper for my work desktop. Any chance of anyone making that happen? I live in Mississippi, at the moment. So, I can't do it myself.

If this is going to happen I am pretty sure it will be available to grab off the interweb thingy that has all these crazy places like www.postgazette.com/steelers or www.sportsillustrated.com or www.tribunereview.com or www.usatoday.com or NFL.com (need I continue???)

And exactly how many of those pictures do you think will be readily available in at least 1280 x 800 resolution? Just about any digital camera you buy these days can easily do that (including many camera-phones). On the other hand, you won't find many news sites embedding pictures of those size directly on their site. It'd kill their load times.
Soooo, the point remains that my best bet for such a wallpaper is for some kind person(s) on this here message board, on this here "interweb thingy" that you seem to know so much about, to take 30 seconds to snap a quick picture on their way around the concourse and upload it to any number of hosting locations. (I run my own webserver at home, if anyone actually comes through and wants me to just post it there, btw).

I am not trying to be an ass. That post above by me is 1 part being a smartass and 9 parts being legit with you. If you find a pic with decent resolution like maybe 800x600 or even a 640x480 you can use an application like PhotoZoom Professional and let me get the quote from their "interweb thingy page" (1 part smart ass again)
PhotoZoom Pro - There is no better solution than PhotoZoom Professional for image enlargement..
Specially designed for the demanding image processing professional PhotoZoom Professional is a revolutionary, patented and awarded technology which includes the best tools available for enlarging digital images. Among professionals quality loss caused by digital image magnification is a very common problem. above quote is from http://www.shareup.com/PhotoZoom_Pro-do ... 37572.html . If you cannot find a free copy. hit me up I will post a link for you to download the program from I have a cracked copy. I don't know what your screenname used to be or if you are new since the site was so whack for the last few months. I don't fuck with people on here I will be a smart ass in a minor way like the "interweb thingy" statement but usually I kick facts and try to be chill with all the posters here. I understand sarcasm is hard to present on a message board. I will try to hook you up if I find a nice pic of it. I also think you have a good chance of getting the pic from a poster here. The Tribune review website which used to link through steelerslive.com used to have some real nice wallpapers. I will post what I have from them so you can get an idea. Give me a few minutes and I will either post them in this thread or start a Wallpaper/background thread in which ever section is best.
