Darnell Stapleton will compete for a job as a guard
Interetsing that Dulac writes that Stapleton will compete for "one of the guard spots" rather than Faneca Left Guard spot. Could Simmons lose his job?

C Darnell Stapleton, a rookie free agent who made the 53-man roster last season, will probably not beat out free-agent pickup Justin Hartwig for the starting spot. But he will be given a chance to compete for one of the guard spots because the team likes his ability and the way he battles inside. Stapleton is not very big (6-3, 285) and does not have great quickness off the ball but he has good technique. He uses his hands well and does a good job of locking on a defensive lineman. Stapleton missed a lot of training camp last season with injury, so the coaches are looking forward to getting an extended look at him in this year's camp.

i would love to see it happen. simmons has been on the back train for two years if not more.
Starks for RT in 2008.
Max Starks- 17.5 sacks in 4 seasons.
Willie Colon- 12.25 sacks in 1 season.
You do the math. Now, who do you want starting at RT??
