104 yard Galloping Ghost..

Postby Hoppy » Tue Nov 11, 2008 10:00 am

Did you see Allen Rossum turn on the jets and run a kick back 104 yards on Monday night. He ran disabled at Heinz and looked like Jesse Owens last night. Steeler Ex's are also 6-2 and moving forward.

I could have sworn Bruce Arains was calling the plays for the 49ers at the end of the game on the goalline.

The cards Dline was totally owning the 49ers oline and Hill was actually looking good even though he was running for his life. Why Martz thought he could run it in was beyond me.

It wasn't so much that they ran it than that they ran it from as power formation, utterly ruling out any chance of a pass and so letting the cards' D clue in to what was coing.

Add to that the fact that they let about 26 seconds run off the clock to get everyone lined up on 1st and goal, only to spike the ball, and THEN they ran the ball two plays in a row and ended the game on 3rd down instead of 4th down, AND ran the final play with MICAHEL ROBINSON instead of Gore, and you had one hell of a clusterfuck at the end of the game.

they'll be 1 and done when they hit the playoffs, i don't see them beating any of the nfc east teams. granted they make the playoffs easily being in the nfc west playing against the 69ers, shithawks, and rams 2x this season

As much as I like Warner, he is going to sh** the bed in the playoffs against a good D, and their D won't be able to stop anyone. But that franchise is moving forward at least.
