I agree that there was good blocking, but Dookie's straight ahead style took advantage of it. That's my point. (I'm not a fan of his overall. Just giving some props where I thought some were due.)

No, I subscribe to the "run it till they stop it" school. One of Arians' problems is his insistence on being predictable with plays that don't work. It's like a computer is calling plays w/out any regard to what's going on on the ground.

I agree that Ben needs to throw quick balls, probably out of a hurry-up scheme. My point was that running an empty-backfield set gives the enemy D an enormous advantage: they know that half your playback is now not an option and they can pin their ears back.
