Best Bets (plus two)

A laugher, a squeaker and a disaster. The Eagles with a lot of help from their former teammate QB Donovan McNabb obliterated the Redskins in Washington. The Lions lost, but got me the backdoor cover that I needed. Betting on Favre and Childress was stupid. I got what I deserved.

I'm betting against two teams I bet against last week. The Redskins certainly earned the repeat pick. I can't shake my anti-Martz/Cutler bias despite the 6 wins. I was tempted to also bet against my loser last week. I'll back off since the Vikes are a 3 point underdog at home in a divisional matchup against the Packers coming off a bye. Just seems like the kind of game that doesn't go as I expect.

Tennessee Titans (-7.0) over Washington Redskins

The Titans are coming off a tough loss in South Beach. They will be out for blood. The Redskins must travel on a short work week. They have looked awful for weeks.

Miami Dolphins (-1.5) over Chicago Bears

The Dolphins finally got off the schneid at home. I smell a streak. I have made my feelings on the Bears well known.

Atlanta Falcons (-3.0) over St. Louis Rams

The Falcons never blow anyone out. They find ways to win. The Rams are improved. This line just seems too low to me.
