I probably should quit now, but why give up when I am ahead? This week my focus ended up being on road underdogs.

Seattle Seahawks (+1) over San Fransisco 49ersLast week the 49ers travelled to Arizona and shocked the defending NFC Champions while the Seahawks beat the Rams for a 9th straight time. The winner of this game takes early control of the NFC West. I just don't have faith in Hill or the 49ers passing game. Somehow they won last week even though Gore was contained. I can't see that happening again. The Seahawks dominated this division for years before a disasterous, injury riddled campaign in 2007. The return of Hasselbeck and signing of Houshmanzadeh give them hope to return to the top spot although I'm probably writing too much into last week's domination over the awful Rams.
Others
New York Giants (+3) over Dallas CowboysThe Cowboys return home to open Jerry Jones' new palace. I am not a believer despite their performance in Tampa. The Giants are not the Buccaneers. Their dominating front seven will make things tough for Romo and the running game. Manning's poise under pressure should help offset the electric atmosphere.
Baltimore Ravens (+5) over San Diego Chargers
I see this as a straight up win for the Ravens despite the cross country trip west. Flacco continues to impress and Harbaugh has done what Billick could never do.... Develop the offense. The Chargers barely escaped with a win in Oakland in the opener. Turner coached teams have been notorious slow starters.
