Stillers 45, Dolts 10 ... Dec 6, 2015…………Game # 12
Stillers-Dolts Brief Postgame Remarks
The Stillers hosted the hapless Dolts, and after a tussle for much of the 1H, the Stillers pulled away in a blowout. Due to the late nite timing of this game, plus being on the road for business, this will be an abbreviated remarks article
QB: Ben had a mostly outstanding game. A
RB:
DeAngelo – outstanding effort. Had a fumble in the 1Q, but overall, the dude has been nothing short of stellar for this team. A+
WR:
Brownie – What can ya say? A+
Pinkie Wheaton – Much quieter after last week’s rare gem of game.
Bryant – solid game, albeit he dropped at least 2 TD passes. It’s gotten to the point where I have to hold my breath every time a ball is thrown his way.
TE:
Jesse James – solid game! He should spell the end of Matthew The Lousy.
OL:
Villenueva – Whatever became of Beachbum Beacham ??
Overall, the OL gave Ben plenty of time, albeit the Dolts came into the game with 1 of the very worst pass rushing defenses in the league.
LB:
Shaquier – survived a game without a major injury. Stunned.
Harrison – by far his best game of the season. Was unblocked quite a bit, but finally provided some impact.
Jones – JarStiff got a key INT, 1Q.
Dupree – got the start. Solid effort.
Vinnie W. – decent effort. I was actually impressed.
DB
Will Allen – Nice run support. Solid effort.
Mitchell – continues to un-impress. Some players have a nose for the pigskin. Then there’s Mike Bitchell.
Sharko Thomas – Not permitted to play on D, because, as you know, Allen is such a studly safety and this secondary is just so dominant. I guess he might get some PT in 2017. Inc
Boykin – Hey…..he finally got some PT ! 12 weeks it took !! Got an INT and showed, oh, about 12 times more skills than the sorryasses he’s been rotting behind.
Spec teams:
Jacoby Jones – a completely barf laden game with 2 grisly fumbles. Could be gone by Tues.
OC: Still too much cutesy bullshit inside the RZ.
DC: The timid 3-man rush on the Dolts’ TD enraged me. Was so pissed off at that point in time I could have eaten a bucket of nails.
HC: Mike Dumblin, the supposed Mensa Man, rotted Boykin on the pine for 11 (eleven) weeks. What’d Boykin do? Why, an INT and grossly outplaying the sorry bastard in front of him. Which makes Dumblin looks like what he is: a complete, imbecilic fool. Will he admit he royally screwed the pooch with his asinine, stubborn bench-rotting of Boykin? I highly doubt it.
Synopsis: A nice home win, albeit a home win.’ Dumblin’s sorry crew isn’t all that much different from Wash. Great at home, shit-eating lousy on the road. Problem is, they have 3 more road games, any of which could be meek egg-lays.
