Are we Top
Seed worthy?
As Week 13 of the NFL season passes us by, only (4)
games remain, and the Stillers (7-4-1) sit at the #3 seed in the AFC only game
out of the coveted top seed. The Raiders-Chargers duo of the AFCW, and the
Colts better the Stillers at 8-4. The
Dolphins-Patriots combo,
Lets assume that the
Stillers beat
So, the Stillers would then

This is how the Stillers
look against the rest of the AFC contenders with remaining schedules

We need the Raiders,
Chargers, and Colts to lose (2) games, and the rest of the pack to all lose at
least one game. This is still assuming we finish 3-1. I can see the teams below us losing at least
one game, but the others to lose (2) could be a stretch. Although, the Colts, if they beat the Titans
this weekend, could easily win-out.
What seems even more
probable is the winner of the AFC West being the #1 seed, and the Colts and the
Stillers battling for that #2 seed and at least a first-round bye. The Titans could win-out and be in that same
position as the Colts.
It looks like is going to be
a wild finish in the AFC this year, and if the Stillers were to win-out their
games. Wellthen they would then be Top Seed worthy.
But, is that a good thing?
