Sure glad there was nothing to worry about�..sure glad that all of my points of concern turned out to be non-issues�but it did take awhile.

 

I was worried as hell about last night�s game�.so worried that I spent the swim meet weekend on a computer at Dartmouth, researching tendencies�not really my gig�the first down/second down�.run-run�pass-pass�..sounds like Peyton Manning calling signals.

 

Anywho�..the pattern scared the hell outta me�.two consecutive years losing to the Shitty Bengals at home, following Monday Nighters.

 

The Homo Carson Palmer carving us up scared me.

 

Tyrone Carter starting scared me.

 

My fears were well-founded early on.� I still believe that we were one big Cinci completion away from losing this game.� First down, around our 19 yard line, up 7-0.� I really think that a TD there, and it�s curtains.� When the defense held though�I know that fuck would miss the FG.

 

Going further back�pisses me off immensely when the other team fucks up, and it costs us.� That opening Bengals drive�..that damn delay penalty on them negated the 3rd down stop�dammit.

 

Anyway, here�s the thoughts on last night at Heinz�

 

  1. Every national game this year, it�s been pouring fuckin� rain�..3 times now.� People will think that Pittsburgh�s been moved to the Rain Forest�or worse�switched with Seattle.
  2. The Homo was high most of the night�thank God.� Seems like game�s against him, he either carves us up, or we�re able to put the clamps on.
  3. Tyrone Carter�helluava game.� He fucks with the Iranian�s head as well�.I love that shit�.added bonus!!� And he brings the heat.
  4. Ike, as he�s done before, stayed with Ocho Cinco�..very good sign for his next assignment this week against one R.Moss.� The fact that he can�t catch I can live with.
  5. Ben Roethlisberger is my hero�.so fuckin� tough, that guy.
  6. FWP�.please, let�s not give the naysayers any ammunition.� One of his lost fumbles was when he ran exceptionally hard, was laying it out for an extra yard.
  7. Check out the video of Sean Mahan barely fuckin� moving his legs as Ben�s laying it out to reach the EZ.
  8. Madden�..enough about Alan Faneca already�..and��they were belaboring some other stupid point�.him & Michaels�.damn, can�t remember what it was.
  9. Larry Foote�..he�s been dissed a lot on this site.� I always thought he made plays.
  10. No big Cinci injuries�.good!!� We want them in good shape for their contest with the Brownies at Paul Brown on December 23rd�..the 35th anniversary of the Immaculate Reception��btw�..imagine that�we�ll be rooting for The Homo, the Terrorist, Ocho Cinco, et al.�
  11. What is it with that guy with the hair on the Bengals?� Looks like he has a fuckin� squirrel coming out of his helmet.

 

Moving forward�..

New England�..gonna be jacked at this Saturday�s swim meet preceeding the game.� Fortunately, my kids� school colors are black & gold, so I�ll be wearing my colors to the meet�maybe #7.� Then, will hook up with Jumbo Head Youks somewhere in Foxboro on Sunday.�� Better keep Hammer�s number in case we�re in a situation where we�re allowed only one phone call.� Gonna bring this portable grill that I have that I�ve never made portable.� I�m not big on the solid portions of tailgates, however.� I am fond of the liquid component.� Think JHY may have other scents & aromas�.I�ll politely decline�..those days long gone for me.

 

Seriously though�I�m much better about traveling to the Belly of the Beast.� No one expects us to win, so we can only exceed expectations.

 

It�s amazing really�..the whole AFC Playoff Picture, save for the #6 seed, is just about locked in.� Was way sweet seeing those Brownies lose yesterday.� Should Steelers drop 3 our of 4, Browns would need to sweep to beat us out for the division.� We take 2 out of 4 (which may not be so easy), we�re in..simple as that.�� Will be tough though, very tough, beating out the Colts for #2.

 

So looking ahead, we�ll draw Brownies or Titans first round at� home.�

 

K�.gotta start planning the weekend��TonyV15220 flies in on Saturday��then we proceed deep behind enemy lines.
