Power Rankings (week 3)

Rnk LW* Team Record Comments
1. 1. Green Bay Packers 2-0 Rodgers makes the game look easy regardless of opponent.
2. 2. New England Patriots 2-0 Current success built entirely on offensive talent, Belichick's reputation as a defensive mastermind notwithstanding.
3. 3. Arizona Cardinals 2-0 Rookie Johnson through 2 games already has a rushing, receiving and return TD.
4. 4. Denver Broncos 2-0 Reports of Peyton's death appear premature.
5. 5. Dallas Cowboys 2-0 Loss of Romo obviously a terrible setback. Weak division gives them hope.
6. 7. Cincinnati Bengals 2-0 Ability to win regular season games never in question.
7. 10. Pittsburgh Steelers 1-1 Roethlisberger, Brown and the offense can beat anybody. Getting Bell back next week makes them that much scarier.
8. 16. Carolina Panthers 2-0 Newton keeps finding ways to win. A pity he doesn't have more skill position talent to utilize.
9. 19. New York Jets 2-0 Defense has a franchise record 10 turnovers in the first 2 games, had only 13 turnovers all of last season.
10. 22. Atlanta Falcons 2-0 Nice start for new head man Quinn.
11. 6. Seattle Seahawks 0-2 Why trade for Graham if he isn't going to be part of the game plan?
12. 8. Miami Dolphins 1-1 Continue to underachieve with Philbin. Already reportedly unhappy with Suh.
13. 11. Buffalo Bills 1-1 Ryan's pregame bluster proved empty just like in Jersey.
14. 13. San Diego Chargers 1-1 Rivers has completed over 80% of his passes so far this season.
15. 14. Kansas City Chiefs 1-1 Couldn't overcome 5 turnovers against the Broncos.
16. 9. Baltimore Ravens 0-2 Harbaugh starts a season with 2 losses for the first time in his career. Would expect them to win scoring 33 points in Oakland. Defense looked flat without Suggs.
17. 21. Minnesota Vikings 1-1 Bridgewater rebounded at home after disappointing showing in San Francisco.
18. 12. Indianapolis Colts 0-2 Last in the league in points with only 21 in 2 games. Luck caught in middle of Grigson/Pagano feud.
19. 15. Philadelphia Eagles 0-2 Giving total control to Kelly appears to have been a horrible mistake.
20. 28. Jacksonville Jaguars 1-1 Won in September for the first time since '12.
21. 20. San Francisco 49ers 1-1 Trip east on a short work week ended up as should have been expected.
22. 29. Oakland Raiders 1-1 Carr impressive in game winning drive against Ravens.
23. 31. Washington Redskins 1-1 Rookie Jones had a coming out party. Gruden committed to ground and pound offense.
24. 17. St. Louis Rams 1-1 Apparently celebrated win over Seahawks about 6 days too long.
25. 18. Detriot Lions 0-2 Going nowhere with uninspiring Caldwell at the helm.
26. 30. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1-1 Talk of Winston being a bust after the opener proved a bit premature.
27. 23. Houston Texans 0-2 O'Brien might have been better off staying at Penn St.
28. 32. Cleveland Browns 1-1 Decision to return journeyman McCown to starting lineup over Manziel serves no purpose.
29. 26. Tennessee Titans 1-1 Cancel Mariotta's Hall of Fame induction ceremony some were planning after the opener, at least for the time being.
30. 24. New York Giants 0-2 Have given up 28 fourth quarter points so far this year. First team in league history to blow second half double digit leads in consecutive games to start a season.
31. 25. New Orleans Saints 0-2 Need to start over. Next winning team will not include Brees. Payton seems to have quit caring.
32. 27. Chicago Bears 0-2 Hung tough for a while until Cutler pick 6, injury trying to make tackle on return. How can an NFL team enter the '15 season with Claussen as their backup QB?
