Power Rankings (week 4)

October 05, 2016 by Steel Haven

Rnk LW* Team Record Comments
1. 2. Denver Broncos 4-0 Lynch gave them a glimpse of the future when Siemian was forced out with an injury to his non-throwing shoulder.
2. 3. Minnesota Vikings 4-0 Have a league best +10 turnover differential.
3. 1. New England Patriots 3-1 Suffered their first home shutout loss since '93.
4. 4. Green Bay Packers 2-1 Come off the bye with 3 straight home games at Lambeau Field.
5. 5. Seattle Seahawks 3-1 Return of Graham seemed to elevate Wilson.
6. 6. Philadelphia Eagles 3-0 Only defense this season allowing fewer than 10 points per game.
7. 7. Pittsburgh Steelers 3-1 What a difference a week makes. Dominated the Chiefs on both sides of the ball from beginning-to-end a week after being dominated by the Eagles in the same manner.
8. 11. Dallas Cowboys 3-1 Dak just keeps getting better. What do they do when Romo is ready to return?
9. 13. Cincinnati Bengals 2-2 Only scored 4 TDs in 13 red zone opportunities so far this season. Eifert's return will obviously help.
10. 16. Atlanta Falcons 3-1 Explosive offense faces major test this week in Mile High City.
11. 17. Oakland Raiders 3-1 All wins so far on the road, the last 2 in the Eastern time zone.
12. 15. Houston Texans 3-1 Rookie Fuller first player in franchise history with a receiving and return TD in the same game. Already have a 2 game lead in pathetic AFC South.
13. 8. Baltimore Ravens 3-1 All their games this season have been decided by less than a TD.
14. 9. Kansas City Chiefs 2-2 Bye gives them a week to regroup from last Sunday night's debacle at Heinz Field.
15. 21. Los Angeles Rams 3-1 Keenum has been surprisingly serviceable.
16. 14. New York Giants 2-2 Beckham frustrated, shut down with a career low 23 receiving yards by Rhodes.
17. 23. Buffalo Bills 2-2 Looked dead and buried losing their first two games with the Cards and Pats next up on the schedule. Somehow Rex and Rob have turned things around.
18. 20. Washington Redskins 2-2 Jones and the improving running game helping to take pressure off Cousins.
19. 10. Carolina Panthers 1-3 Letting Norman go not looking like a very smart move.
20. 12. Arizona Cardinals 1-3 Bad time for a road trip on a short work week with Palmer in the concussion protocol.
21. 28. Jacksonville Jaguars 1-3 Get a bye after pleasant trip to jolly old London.
22. 18. Indianapolis Colts 1-3 Luck has been sacked 15 times in 4 games.
23. 19. New York Jets 1-3 Fitzpatrick has thrown 9 interceptions in the last 2 games.
24. 22. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1-3 Winston has already thrown 8 interceptions in only 4 games after throwing 15 all of last season.
25. 29. New Orleans Saints 1-3 Shippensburg alum Kuhn vultured 3 TDs in San Diego to lead them to their first win.
26. 31. Chicago Bears 1-3 Fox noncommital about whether Cutler when healthy will be given starting job over Hoyer. Doesn't really matter honestly.
27. 24. San Diego Chargers 1-3 Blew a 13 point lead in the final 5 minutes. Their 3 losses are by a combined 11 points, held a fourth quarter lead in each games.
28. 25. Miami Dolphins 1-3 Offense last in the league in third down conversions.
29. 26. Tennessee Titans 1-3 Not sure whether Mullarkey's conservative offense is the cause of Marriota's poor play or vice-a-versa.
30. 27. Detriot Lions 1-3 No longer treading water under Caldwell, now sinking like a stone.
31. 30. San Francisco 49ers 1-3 Return of Lynch from suspension doesn't overcome loss of Bowman for the season to a torn Achilies' and Buckner for what could be an extended period to a foot injury.
32. 32. Cleveland Browns 0-4 The last remaining winless team. Not only traded the pick used to take Wentz, but also passed on Carr to take Manziel.
