.1.New England Patriots9-0Will the bye leave them rested and rejuvinated or stall their momentum? I'm unfortunately betting on the former.
.3.Dallas Cowboys8-1Victory in the Meadowlands puts them in complete control of the NFC East.
.4.Pittsburgh Steelers7-2Can't afford to look past the Jets and Dolphins before the widely anticipated matchup in Foxboro.
.5.Green Bay Packers8-1Beating the Vikings is one thing. Running the ball on them and stopping Purple Jesus is another. More and more impressive.
.2.Indianapolis Colts7-2Unable to overcome Manning's team record 6 interceptions and Vinatieri's missed 29 yard field goal.
.12.Jacksonville Jaguars6-3Gray deserves kudos for managing the game well enough to go 2-1 in 3 straight road contests. Garrard is expected back next week.
.7.Tennessee Titans6-3Remember when Vick's lack of quarterback skills were overlooked because his team won? That seems to be happening now with VY. Can VY develop better than Vick?
.6.New York Giants6-3Visions of last year's 2-6 finish after a 6-2 start have to be dancing in their heads.
.11.San Diego Chargers5-4Tried hard to blow the 23 point first half lead provided by Sproles and the defense. Offensive ineptitude is hard to fathom.
.8.Detriot Lions6-3Have troubles outside of Ford Field.
.10.Cleveland Browns5-4Blew a 15 point first half lead and lost to the Steelers for the ninth straight time despite the best efforts of return man Cribbs.
.17.Seattle Seahawks5-4Only team over .500 in their division.
.13.Tampa Bay Buccaneers5-4See comment on the Seahawks above.
.19.Buffalo Bills5-4Winning ugly. Hard to envision them being able to drag the Patriots down to their level on Sunday night.
.14.Washington Redskins5-4Got conservative and blew a halftime lead. Something that has happened a mind boggling 13 times in the second Gibbs era.
.22.Arizona Cardinals4-5Held the Lions to an NFL record low -18 yards rushing.
.23.Chicago Bears4-5Grossman is back. Hide the women and children.
.24.Denver Broncos4-5Saved their season in Arrowhead.
.25.Philadelphia Eagles4-5Still have a pulse. To bad they aren't in the NFC South or West.
.9.New Orleans Saints4-5That thud you heard was them coming back down to earth. Tough to recover from losing to a winless team at home.
.20.Houston Texans4-5Return of Johnson certainly can't hurt.
.15.Baltimore Ravens4-5Billick doesn't have a high profile offensive coordinator to scapegoat like Fassel last year.
.18.Carolina Panthers4-5Lost their sixth straight home game. Cowher may have to rethink taking 2 years off with his supposed dream job likely to be available after this season.
.16.Kansas City Chiefs4-5No LJ, no offense. Going back to Croyle at QB.
.26.Cincinnati Bengals3-6Henry made an immediate difference on the field. If only he would stop behaving like an idiot off the field.
.27.Atlanta Falcons3-6Only a game out of second and 2 games out of first in the somewhat surprisingly pathetic AFC South.
.21.Minnesota Vikings3-6Shut out for the first time since the fourth week of the 1991 season. To make matters worse Purple Jesus tore knee ligaments and will miss at least next weekend's game.
.31.St. Louis Rams1-8Showed what might have been if their offense could have stayed healthy in the first half of the season.
.28.San Fransisco 49ers2-7Offensive coordinator Hostler is in over his head.
.29.Oakland Raiders2-7Defense can breathe a sigh of relief with Purple Jesus sidelined.
.30.New York Jets1-8Meet the Steelers for the first time since the 2005 playoffs. A lot has changed since then.
.32.Miami Dolphins0-9Wasted the Herculean efforts of Chatman. Really need to give Beck a look and put Lemon out of his misery.
