Things were actually going well for me early last week before the Saints quit and the Bears allowed a back door cover. F' you Lovie, don't let the door hit you on the way out. The streaking 'Skins saved me with a big assist by Tony Romo. Who’d have thought Romo would choke in a big game?
I'm all in with the home teams in the wild card round.
home team in bold
Saturday
Houston Texans (-4.5) over Cincinnati Bengals
Bengals have never won a road playoff game. Last year I picked them to beat the Texans with TJ Yates at the helm. I will not make the same mistake.
Green Bay Packers (-8.0) over Minnesota Vikings
How will the Packers stop Purple Jesus? They won't.... But the mistake prone Christian Ponder and the Packers passing game will make an upset (or even cover) difficult.
Sunday
Baltimore Ravens (-6.5) over Indianapolis Colts
I took the slumping team with more talent in the first matchup of the weekend in Houston. I will do the same in this matchup. I could see Andrew Luck stubbing his toe and the emotional Colts finally having a letdown.
Washington Redskins (+3.0) over Seattle Seahawks
Only the second time in the Super Bowl era that two rookie QBs met in the playoffs, last year's matchup of Andy Dalton and TJ Yates being the first. Everyone is on the Seahawks bandwagon seemingly forgetting the Redskins have won seven straight. I think the trip from the west coast Washington to the east will be the deciding factor.
Last Week
New Orleans Saints (-5.0) over Carolina Panthers LOSS
Chicago Bears (-3.0) over Detriot Lions LOSS
Washington Redskins (-3.0) over Dallas Cowboys WIN
