My opening weekend was a disaster of unmitigated proportions. At least the Colts and Texans won despite not covering. My best bet had their season flushed after one week with a loss to the jokes from the swamps of Jersey.
Last week favorites all around (not including the debacle of my extra pick in the Thursday night opener) worked so well that I'll give it another go. Not learning from my mistakes since 1961.

Baltimore Ravens (-6.5) over Cleveland Browns
Weeden looked terrible at home against the Dolphins. If the defending champion Ravens have any pride you'd have to think they will return home from the debacle in Denver and eviscerate their divisional foes.
Others
Indianapolis Colts (-2.5) over Miami Dolphins
I'll give the Colts another chance as a home favorite. Last week they won, but couldn't cover 9.5. This week the line is much more manageable. I wasn't all that impressed by the Dolphins in Cleveland despite their victory.
New Orleans Saints (-3.5) over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Bucs return home desperate after a demoralizing loss to the Jets. They can’t afford another loss. Now instead of Geno Smith they face Drew Brees. I'll take Brees.
