1.2.Houston Texans2-0Firing on all cylinders against sub-par competition. Trip to Denver is first real test.
2.3.San Francisco 49ers2-0Smith has not thrown an interception since before last Thanksgiving.
3.5.Atlanta Falcons2-0Coming out party on MNF was marred by Turner getting nabbed for DUI early Tuesday morning.
4.7.Green Bay Packers1-1Defense stepped up with Rodgers still trying to find his groove. Expected return of Jennings in week 3 cant hurt.
5.13.Philadelphia Eagles2-0Undefeated despite turning the ball over 9 times.
6.10.New York Giants1-1Scored 25 fourth quarter points to avoid losing a pair of games at home to start the season.
7.11.Pittsburgh Steelers1-1Winners of 10 straight home games. Roethlisberger remains undefeated in home openers.
8.4.Baltimore Ravens1-1Talk of Flacco being elite proved premature.
9.20.Arizona Cardinals2-0Shocked the world in Foxboro. Survived a late Williams fumble while trying to run out the clock thanks to a missed Gostkowski FG as time expired.
10.1.New England Patriots1-1Their 10 game winning streak in home openers came to an unexpected end. Losing Hernandez to injury really seemed to throw Brady off his game. Conservative play calling while settling for 42 yard FG attempt in the final seconds was not in character. Obviously they learned nothing from the Ravens settling for a FG in last year's AFC Championship game.
11.14.San Diego Chargers2-0Turner is undefeated after 2 games for the first time in his 15 years as a head coach. Somehow that doesn't come as a surprise.
12.8.Denver Broncos1-1Couldn't overcome Manning throwing 3 interceptions on the first 3 possessions for the first time in his career. Perhaps of bigger concern is Manning's arm strength (or lack thereof).
13.25.Seattle Seahawks1-1Opening week loss to the Cardinals doesn't look so bad any more.
146.Detriot Lions1-1Will return of Leshoure from suspension bolster their anemic running game?
15.9.Dallas Cowboys1-1Asleep in Seattle.
16.17.Cincinnati Bengals1-1Have to be concerned even in victory after defensive performance against Weeden a week after being torched by Flacco.
17.24.Carolina Panthers1-1Fears of a sophomore slump for Newton allayed by bounce back performance against Saints.
18.12.Chicago Bears1-1When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Cutler on the other hand curls up in the fetal position.
19.16.New York Jets1-1Lost for the ninth time in 10 tries in Pittsburgh.
20.23.Buffalo Bills1-1Spiller making the injured Jackson obsolete.
21.18.Washington Redskins1-1Outscored 25-7 after the 2 minute warning before halftime. Morgan cost them a shot at a makeable game tying FG after becoming frustrated by well known trash talker Finnegan on the final drive and getting an unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for throwing the ball at an opponent. To make matters worse lost Orakpo and Carricker for the due to injury.
22.19.Tampa Bay Buccaneers1-1Blew a double digit fourth quarter lead as defense collapsed ending up allowing 510 passing yards and 605 total yards.
23.15.New Orleans Saints0-2Only winless team in the NFC. Brees must be mistake free to overcome defensive inadequacies. He again repeatedly made big mistakes.
24.29.St. Louis Rams1-1Bradford's career appears rejuvenated under Fisher/Schottenheimer.
25.30.Indianapolis Colts1-1Vinatieri got Luck, Pagano their first victory.
26.31.Miami Dolphins1-1Bush topped 100 yards from scrimmage for the 6th straight game.
27.26.Minnesota Vikings1-1Last second FG foiled a furious comeback bid in which they erased a 14 point fourth quarter deficit.
28.27.Oakland Raiders0-2McKenzie has a lot of work to do to clean up the mess left by Davis/Jackson.
29.28.Jacksonville Jaguars0-2Gained a franchise low 117 net yards against the Texans.
30.32.Cleveland Browns0-2Weeden and Richardson bounced back in defeat after a disastrous opener.
31.21.Tennessee Titans0-2Outscored 72 to 23 on the season with CJ gaining a paltry 21 yards on 19 carries.
32.22.Kansas City Chiefs0-2At least Bowe's fantasy owners got a couple of scores in garbage time.
