Picked the wrong teams traveling from west to east to lose (LA in best bet) and win (Arizona). Saved only by a basically inconsequential late Dak Prescott to Dez Bryant TD which after a garbage time TD by the Bears resulted in a cover on Sunday night. I mentioned liking three other games last week, would have lost all of them.
One less game this week with the byes starting. Really doesn't matter much the way I've been picking. Once again I've taken all favorites which has not been working out so far. Backed out of taking the Texans (-5.5) over the Titans in Houston after the news of the JJ Watt injury.

Best Bet
Denver Broncos (-3) over Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Bucs lost as my best bet last week at home against the offensively challenged Rams giving up more offensive TDs in a single game than the Rams scored in their previous 4 games. The defending Super Bowl champions are a far superior opponent, not that things necessarily work that way. I did pause before making this pick with the Broncos travel east for a second straight week after winning in Cincinnati. This could be a trap, but I will take the bait.
Others
Cincinnati Bengals (-7) over Miami Dolphins
Don't usually like the Thursday night game, this is just too enticing. Dolphins traveling on short work week after needing OT to beat the Brownies at home. Bengals need a laugher after losing close games to the Steelers and Broncos. This has blow out written all over it.
Dallas Cowboys (-3) over San Francisco 49ers
I'll replace picking one team from Texas with the other despite the trip to Santa Clara making me nervous for some reason.
Last Week
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (-5) over Los Angeles Rams LOSS
Arizona Cardinals (-4.5) over Buffalo Bills LOSS
Dallas Cowboys (-7) over Chicago Bears WIN
Best Bets: 1-2, Overall: 3-6
