An unanswered 15 point fourth quarter by Andrew Luck and the Colts saved me the ignominy of a winless week.
For some reason I am really into favorites this season after leaning toward underdogs in the past. The constant is my being wrong. I found this week very difficult. How will teams are going to respond to off the field issues, suspensions, injuries and coaches illnesses? No game really stood out as a best bet. Maybe uncertainty will help me.

Best Bet
New York Giants (-7.0) over Oakland Raiders
A two win team favored by a TD doesn't seem like best bet material. I'm probably reading too much into the Raiders destruction at the hands of the Eagles last weekend. A trip east to play the rested Giants coming off a bye just seems like a tough task.
Others
Cincinnati Bengals (-1.5) over Baltimore Ravens
Staying away from bitter divisional rivalries would probably be smart. No one is going to accuse me of being smart.
New Orleans Saints (-7.0) over Dallas Cowboys
Saints are a different team at home and this appears to be a matchup nightmare for the Cowboys defense.
Last Week
Baltimore Ravens (-2.5) over Cleveland Browns LOSS
Indianapolis Colts (-2.5) over Houston Texans WIN
Cincinnati Bengals (-2.5) over Miami Dolphins LOSS
