Smitters Week 1 Picks:

Smitters Week 16Picks:

Last week: 8-8 Overall: 107-11747.8%

FLGs last week:3-0 Overall22-2348.9%

I, like others on stillers.com, hate the Patriots, but I will be one of the biggest Tom Brady fans in the world this week. And, this week we get to be Broncos fans, and if everything works out this week, next week we get to root for the 49ers against the Broncos. So, go Pats! Go Broncos! And go whomever else we need to win this week. Home dogs were 1-2 last week, but are still 64.9%, 48-26, for the year. Home favorites, after a 5-8 week, are now 44.7%, 67-83, on the year. My gut feeling this week is to go with the home teams, that most of the away teams are not really going to feel like being out of town on Christmas Eve. Ive only picked 5 away teams this week.

Green Bay (- 3 ) over Minnesota This is possibly Brett Favres last home game. Look for him to go out with a bang.

Oakland (+ 6 ) over Kansas City Although this is a Saturday night game, and not a Christmas Eve game, being at home will keep the Raiders at least close in this one.

Pittsburgh (- 3 ) over Baltimore Steelers got to be fired up for this one. Revenge game, and we will come out smoking. I look for Willie to run for about 100, and Santonio to have at least one TD.

Tennesee (+ 4 ) over Buffalo Who would have thought, that looking at the schedule in the beginning of the year, that this game in week 16 would have playoff implications? Well, it does, and I like the Titans on the road this week.

New Orleans (+ 3 ) over NY Giants Giants didnt look good last week. The Saints looked terrible last week after their trouncing of the Cowboys. I look for the Saints to rebound, while the Giants toss away what started as a promising season.

Atlanta (- 5 ) over Carolina By the end of their drubbing last week, the Panthers looked like they didnt care. Look for that to continue this week. Michael Vick will have one of his better games of the year, after being passed over for the Pro Bowl.

St Louis (- 2 ) over Washington Washington, to me, is one of those teams that will just mail it in, being away from home on Christmas Eve.

Indianapolis (- 9 ) over Houston The Colts looked a lot better against the Bengals than they have been the last few weeks. A dose of the Texans will continue their rebound.

Cleveland (- 3 ) over Tampa Bay Bruce Gradkowskis family and friends may outnumber the Browns fans by the end of this game.

Detroit (+ 4 ) over Chicago Was last weeks defensive effort against the Bucs a sign of things to come for the Bears, or just a one game aberration? Detroit is not going to score much, but neither will Chicago.

New England (+ 3 ) over Jacksonville Lets go PATS! Ugh, cant believe I said that.

San Francisco (- 4 ) over Arizona I am hoping the Niners win this week, and the Seahawks lose, so next week the 49ers could possibly be playing for the division next week when they play the Broncos, who we might need to lose next week.

Denver (- 3 ) over Cincinnati Here we go Broncos, here we go! Jay Cutler didnt look too bad last week, lets hope he improves more this week, before imploding next week.

Seattle (+ 4 ) over San Diego Lets see if Philip Rivers can rebound from his poor performance last week. Of course, when LT is your running back, you can still have a bad game and your team win. This should be a good one, both teams got things to play for.

Philadelphia (+ 7 ) over Dallas Is it possible that Philly can make the playoffs after McNabb gets hurt? Not only possible, but quite likely after the Eagles thrash the Cowboys.

Miami (- 3 ) over NY Jets I forgot above to mention that on Christmas Night we are Dolphins fan. Lets go Fish.
