Smitter's Week 5 Predictions

I'm back from suspension!

Well, folks, I have been reinstated to Stillers.com after my 4 week suspension.

Here's the story, which until now, have not been allowed to be told.  After last year, I was approached by Stillers.com and told my predictions had to be better.

So, I did what any red-blooded Stillers fan would do and tried to enhance my predictions through artificial means.....yes, I was taking the dreaded HGH (Help for Godawful Handicappers). It was working out fine until approached by the staff for some baseball predictions. Here is what I predicted pack in late March........The Pirates would win 94 games and win the division, pennant, and World Series. I also predicted Jason Bay would hit .330 and hit 45 HR's, that Adam Larouche would be leading the league in BA, HR, and RBI at the end of April. I predicted that Ronny Paulino would develop into the best defensive catcher in baseball, and that Ryan Doumit would make it injury-free the whole year.

Well, when those picks weren't even close, I was administered a drug test by Stillers.com, and the rest, as they say, is history.  So, let's hope this year is better, or, at least, I find other drugs that can't be detected by Stillers.com drug tests!  On a brighter note, while I have no way to prove it, I am 62-0 so far this year picking against the spread!  Seriously, though, after winning over 60% of games last year, home dogs are again winning at an incredible rate, 13-6, 68.4%
