Hard Hat Award (Game #3, vs. Cinci)

Hard Hat Award (Game #3, vs. Cinci)

Stiller free safety Ryan Clark is the winner of the weekly Hard Hat Award, given to the Stiller player who best embodies the iron-tough, hard-as-steel attitude of the steel workers inside the blast furnace of a still mill.

Clark earned the award by drilling Cinci WR Chris Henry with a devastating shoulder hit as a pass arrived on a deep crossing route in the 3Q.  The hit left Henry dazed and confused.  Better yet, the hit caused the ball to pop outward, and ham-handed CB Ike Taylor was able to corral the ball for a cake-easy INT.  After watching Don Darius dish out several punishing hits in the listless loss at Jax, it was refreshing to see this punishing hit by Clark.

RB Wilver Parker got quite a lot of consideration by The Committee for his tough, churning, 30+ carry effort.

Kudos to Clarkie for winning the weekly Hard Hat Award.  Wear the Hard Hat proudly, Ryan!
