CAUGHT IN THE TRAP
Thoughts from the mind like a steel trap
-
Hey, everyoneLAY OFF Stewart for a change, fer
chrissakes. The man is NOT the most
accurate QB on the planet, and he never will be. Check out those skillets that Plaxico wears on his hands if you
want to find blame!! Sheez. We fried eggs in Boy Scouts with those
skillets!?!!
-
Rollouts? Where are
they??? MIA in the Mularkey
offense. We have the most athletic QB
this side of Vick, and all we get is the STALE quarterback drawand everyone in
the stadium knows its coming!! Memo to
Mike: roll out Stewart. Not once.
Like maybe TEN TIMES A GAME, you imbecile!!!
-
The Trap was totally outspoken in his desire to CUT Jerame
2-Man. Trap called for it repeatedly in
training camp. NOW weeks later need
we even ASK the obvious??? WHAT
FUNCTION does this oxygen-stealer have on this team? Pass catcher??? Was there
a bigger drop in the Raiduh game than 2-Mans drop of a 3rd down
pass right in his mitts??? And people
have the nerve to rip on Stewart????
WTF?
-
As many have already posted, and as many writers have
already written: stopping the 3rd
down blues starts directly with eschewing the soft, passive coverage of wide
receiverswhat point is there in having big, physical cornerbacks when they get
stuck in a wussy scheme that has them playing 15-yards off the
receivers??? Press coverage, supported
by blitzing the piss out of the QB, hitting him, and making him THINK about it
the next play he goes back to pass.
This is very simple, yet the simpleminded on the Cowherd staff get
migraines trying to figure it out?
-
Trap also begged for Simmons to be the right guard from day
one. In typical fashion, and just as
Trap predicted, the buffoons on the Cowherd staff stubbornly stuck with a fat
tackle who has no footwork to play guard.
And people actually DEFEND Cowherds intelligence??? What is that about?
-
Trap is still backing the elevation of Mike Logan to
starter. Alexanders knowledge is way
overratedTrap will take speed, ballhawking, and hitting over all of
Alexanders knowledge any day
-
Everyone seen how wide open the Stiller tight ends have been
on every pass thats been thrown to them?
Memo to Mularkey: Keep throwing
to them until the defense respects it, you numbskull! Just dont throw to 2-Man he cant catch a Kleenex with
flypaper.
-
Can Clements PLEASE teach Stewart how to throw the ball with
AIR under it when going deep??
Please! Stewart hasnt thrown a
deep ball with a high trajectory since the Michigan game
-
Josh Miller has Traps ire.
He punts from his own 10, and shanks a 38-yarder. He punts from the 50 and booms the ball into
the endzoneWTF?
-
Lets ride the Bus against the Brownies. Just pound and pound and poundwith a few
bombs to Plex to keep them honest!
-
BTW, I watched a
good bit of the Brownie game, and watched Earl Holmes closely. He had a good game. I did, however, feel that he does not get
the gaps and fissures in the 4-3 defense that he used to get in the 3-4. Im thinking that he is suited only for the
3-4 defense, something my esteemed colleague Steel Haven brought up long ago
-
For anyone who did not read Steel Phantoms column earlier
this week about the Law of Unintended Consequencesplease read it. It is incredibly balls on, and meticulously
well-written. A MUST READ.
