.1.New England Patriots7-0Brady's 27 touchdown passes are 3 more than he threw all last season.
.2.Indianapolis Colts6-0Workmanlike and efficient.
.4.Dallas Cowboys6-1Did a nice job of rebounding from the beat down suffered at the hands of the Patriots.
.8.New York Giants5-2Firing on all cylinders. Trip to London to play the floundering Dolphins means they should head into their bye at 6-2.
.6.Green Bay Packers5-1Move up a spot on their bye week because there is really no one else to rank here.
.3.Pittsburgh Steelers4-2Apparently need to stay east of the Mississippi to win. Offensive coordinator Arians got too cute with the gameplan against the 32nd ranked run defense and his team paid.
.10.Tennessee Titans4-2Had trouble getting into the endzone with Young on the sidelines despite completely dominating the first 3 quarters in Houston. Then almost blew the game by giving up 29 fourth quarter points. Luckily Bironas made his NFL record 8th field goal of the day as time ran out for the win.
.9.San Diego Chargers3-3How will they respond to the uncertainty surrounding this week's game due to the wildfires engulfing Southern California?
.5.Jacksonville Jaguars4-2Loss of Garrard for at least a month will be tough to overcome with Gray next on the depth chart.
.7.Baltimore Ravens4-3Already equalled last year's total of 3 losses.
.11.Carolina Panthers4-2Hard to envision them getting very far having to play Testeverde and/or Carr.
.13.Kansas City Chiefs4-3Winning ugly. The signature of an Edward's coached team. At least it is better than losing.
.14.Seattle Seahawks4-3A visit from the Rams is an easy way to halt a losing streak.
.16.Washington Redskins4-2Beat the Cardinals despite being outgained by 204 yards.
.18.Denver Broncos3-3Shanahan showed what an intelligent coach can do with a bye week.
.19.Detriot Lions4-2Exceeded their 2006 win total.
.12.Tampa Bay Buccaneers4-3Injuries are taking a toll.
.23.Chicago Bears3-4Drove 97 yards in under 2 minutes with no timeouts for their first touchdown of the day to steal a win in Philadelphia.
.15.Arizona Cardinals3-4Warner gave it his all with his left arm in a harness. It wasn't enough.
.22.Cleveland Browns3-3Anderson, Edwards and Winslow have shredded bad defenses. That pretty much defines the visiting Rams.
.29.Cincinnati Bengals2-4Got off the mat and showed some fight by scoring 28 points in the second half to win their first game since the opener.
.17.Philadelphia Eagles2-4Turning into a lost season.
.24.New Orleans Saints2-4Showed enough fortitude to come back after falling behind at home to the Falcons. Not the most exciting win, but after the first 4 weeks it was better than nothing.
.28.Buffalo Bills2-4Gave the Ravens a dose of their own medicine by beating them with defense and the running game.
.21.Houston Texans3-4Rosenfels in relief of an injured Schaub threw fourth quarter touchdown passes to Anderson, Walter, Putzier and Davis to take a shocking lead on the Titans. Unfortunately the defense couldn't stop Collins from leading a winning field goal drive in the final minute.
.20.San Fransisco 49ers2-4Offense is downright offensive.
.25.Minnesota Vikings2-4Purple Jesus only got 13 touches a week after gaining 233 total yards. Just mindboggling.
.27.Oakland Raiders2-4Kiffin has made them competative. That is more than you could say about Shell last year.
.26.New York Jets1-6Mangini can no longer be called Man-genius. Completely collapsed after taking a 13 point second half lead over a team that had previously only won a single game.
.30.Atlanta Falcons1-6Released the aging Jackson to take a look at rookie Lewis in the middle of the defense. Makes sense at 1-6. Of course the veteran's did not respond well. Especially the troublesome Hall.
.31.St. Louis Rams0-7Switch back to Bulger didn't help. Maybe the offense will improve when Jackson returns this coming week.
.32.Miami Dolphins0-7Things go from bad to disasterous with the news that Brown will miss the rest of the season due to a torn ACL. Doesn't help that Thomas isn't expected to play in London after suffering whiplash in an auto accident after Sunday's game. When it rains, it pours.
