An easy best bet win thanks to the ineptitude of Eli and the Giants. A nice way to start. A back door push by the Raiders and complete collapse in Chicago temper my enthusiasm. I'll take it considering this was the first week.
I was hoping things would get easier in the second week. No luck. Finding three games to pick was very difficult. All road favorites seems a foolish course to take. I just couldn't find any options I liked better.

Best Bet
New England Patriots (-3) over Minnesota Vikings
The Pats appear to have made a mistake trading Logan Mankins. Their interior offensive line was dominated in Miami. Minnesota's defense has the talent to also knock Brady off his game. While I would love for it to happen, I just can't see the Patriots opening 0-2 and this line is very low.
Others
Houston Texans (-3) over Oakland Raiders
This is probably too soon to jump on the Texans bandwagon, especially as a road favorite. The Raiders return home after hanging with the Jets in Jersey. This is simply a bet on JJ Watt making life miserable for Derek Carr.
New Orleans Saints (-6.5) over Cleveland Browns
A stab in the dark due to a lack of other viable choices. I know the Saints traditionally stink on the road, but like the Pats I find it hard to believe New Orleans will start out 0-2. I'll consider the Browns second half last week as the fluke, their first half as more of a true indicator of their talent.
