Rnk LY* Team Record+ Comments
1. 2. Denver Broncos 4-1 Manning is only 2 behind Favre's career record 508 TD passes.
2. 4. San Diego Chargers 5-1 Opening loss in Arizona by a single point has become a distant memory.
3. 5. Philadelphia Eagles 5-1 Offense finally came alive against the Giants.
4. 6. Dallas Cowboys 5-1 Murray joins arguably the greatest of all time, Jim Brown, as the only players ever to gain over 100 yards rushing in each of the first 6 games of a season.
5. 7. Arizona Cardinals 4-1 Snapped an 8 game losing streak against the Redskins. Alone in first place in the brutally tough NFC West.
6. 8. Indianapolis Colts 4-2 Recovered their third onside kick of the season, no one else has recovered any.
7. 9. San Francisco 49ers 4-2 Overcame a 14 point first half deficit in part thanks to a ridiculous offensive pass interference against Cook that led to a punt and an unlikely 80 yard TD pass with under 5 minutes remaining 'til halftime.
8. 1. Seattle Seahawks 3-2 Lost only once in their previous 20 home games before Sunday night. Repeating is hard.
9. 3. Cincinnati Bengals 3-1-1 Both teams kicked OT FGs before Nugent missed a 36 yarder as time expired resulting in the first tie of the season.
10. 10. Green Bay Packers 4-2 Rodgers would not except defeat, engineering a pair of late fourth quarter drives of 60 yards or more to vanquish his former coordinator Philbin.
11. 11. New England Patriots 4-2 Brady upped his career record to 23-2 against the Bills.
12. 13. Baltimore Ravens 4-2 Set a franchise record for most points in a road game with 48.
13. 14. Detriot Lions 4-2 Pitt grad Austin has turned around the defense as coordinator.
14. 18. Carolina Panthers 3-2-1 Have to be happy about Newton's return to being a dual threat, hopefully Burficts' incredibly dirty actions of twisting the ankle of Newton and Olsen in the pile after plays were dead will not have any affect going forward.
15. 12. New York Giants 3-3 Schedule makers did them no favors with trips to division rivals Philly and Dallas in consecutive weeks.
16. 16. Kansas City Chiefs 2-3 Reid has a 13-2 record coming off a bye, of course 1 of the losses was last year.
17. 23. Cleveland Browns 3-2 Also started 3-2 last year and by the end their coach and then front office were fired after a single season.
18. 15. Houston Texans 3-3 A pair of fumbles on the last 2 possessions halted their furious comeback attempt which featured another Watt TD.
19. 19. New Orleans Saints 2-3 Next 9 opponents are all currently .500 or better.
20. 24. Chicago Bears 3-3 Cutler epitomizes Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
21. 17. Pittsburgh Steelers 3-3 Roethlisberger lost to the Browns for the first time in 19 starts.
22. 21. Buffalo Bills 3-3 Chandler was the franchise's first TE to surpass 100 yards receiving in a game since Metzelaars in September of '92.
23. 20. Atlanta Falcons 2-4 Smith's seat is getting hotter.
24. 22. Miami Dolphins 2-3 Scored 14 fourth quarter points, then still managed to blow the lead by giving up 10 points in the final 5 minutes.
25. 25. Minnesota Vikings 2-4 Optimism over Bridgewater's first appearance quickly fizzled with an 8 sack, 3 interception performance in his first start.
26. 30. Tennessee Titans 2-4 Going nowhere with Locker, might as well take a look at Mettenberger.
27. 27. Washington Redskins 1-5 Turned the ball over 4 times in the fourth quarter, the last a pick 6. Should have traded Cousins when he had value.
28. 26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 1-5 Time for Lovie to clean house, this is going to be a long term rebuild.
29. 28. New York Jets 1-5 Late Geno pick 6 cost Vegas a lot of money.
30. 29. St. Louis Rams 1-4 First team ever to have only a single sack after 5 games, had 53 last season.
31. 31. Jacksonville Jaguars 0-6 Bortles a revelation, rest of the team not so much.
32. 32. Oakland Raiders 0-5 Fought hard in Sparano's debut, lost anyway.
