Power Rankings (week 12)

November 25, 2015 by Steel Haven

Rnk LW* Team Record Comments
1. 1. New England Patriots 10-0 Could offensive line injuries be their downfall? Brady going to get hit a lot down the stretch, in the playoffs.
2. 2. Carolina Panthers 10-0 Newton had never before thrown for 4 TDs in a game, did it in the first half before finishing with 5 TD passes.
3. 3. Arizona Cardinals 8-2 Arians/Palmer emphatically continue to prove themselves.
4. 6. Denver Broncos 8-2 Won with defense when Peyton was on the field. Why can't that continue with Osweiler?
5. 4. Cincinnati Bengals 8-2 Prime time is not their time.
6. 9. Green Bay Packers 7-3 Buoyed by Lacy's return to health, productivity.
7. 7. Pittsburgh Steelers 6-4 Return from bye with 4 of final 6 games on the road.
8. 5. Minnesota Vikings 7-3 Failed to take control of their division at home against the previously reeling Packers.
9. 15. Kansas City Chiefs 5-5 Allowing under 10 points per game on average during their current 4 game winning streak.
10. 13. Indianapolis Colts 5-5 Hasselbeck undefeated in 3 starts.
11. 8. Atlanta Falcons 6-4 Offense struggled to run the ball after Freeman suffered a concussion, blew 14 point lead in final 16 minutes.
12. 12. New York Giants 5-5 What could have been? Blew fourth quarter leads in 4 of their 5 losses.
13. 14. Seattle Seahawks 5-5 Playing the Niners can cure a lot of ills.
14. 18. Houston Texans 5-5 Tied for first thanks to defense fueled 3 game winning streak.
15. 10. Buffalo Bills 5-5 Need to get Watkins more involved.
16. 11. New York Jets 5-5 Fitzpatrick continues to struggle through thumb injury/surgery, just don't have a better option.
17. 23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers 5-5 Only need 1 more win to equal their total from the last 2 seasons combined.
18. 16. Chicago Bears 4-6 Couldn't overcome injuries to offensive playmakers against tough Broncos defense.
19. 31. Dallas Cowboys 3-7 Return of Romo ended 7 game skid, makes them a different team.
20. 17. Miami Dolphins 4-6 Serious questions surround Tannehill.
21. 19. Washington Redskins 4-6 Winless so far this season on the road.
22. 20. Philadelphia Eagles 4-6 Won’t be easy to improve their sagging fortunes with trip to Detroit on short work week for Thanksgiving matchup. Does Kelly care? Is he heading to Southern Cal?
23. 21. St. Louis Rams 4-6 Switch to Keenum predictably didn't work. Can Fisher survive this debacle?
24. 22. Oakland Raiders 4-6 Talk earlier in the season about them being a legitimate playoff contender proved premature.
25. 25. New Orleans Saints 4-6 Allen unlikely to make much difference as new coordinator for defense that is dead last in points and yards allowed.
26. 26. Jacksonville Jaguars 4-6 Only a game behind in their division, next 2 opponents (Chargers, Titans) have a total of 4 wins.
27. 27. Baltimore Ravens 3-7 Lost season gets worse despite victory with Flacco suffering torn ACL/MCL, Forsett a broken arm.
28. 29. Detriot Lions 3-7 Can Caldwell save his job? Promoted Cooter has actually helped Stafford.
29. 24. San Francisco 49ers 3-7 Gabbert has been a short term improvement over Kaepernick, not that it really matters.
30. 28. Tennessee Titans 2-8 Held to 14 points or fewer in 6 of their last 7 games, 7 times total this season.
31. 30. San Diego Chargers 2-8 Losers of 6 straight, the longest current streak in the league.
32. 32. Cleveland Browns 2-8 Pettine benching Manziel because of a video of him partying over bye week. Not seeing what Manziel can do on the field the rest of the season is idiocy. Pettine/Farmer need to go. If they wanted a choirboy Manziel shouldn't have been drafted in the first place.
